Laura van Hal
2011
Laura’s 2011 credits include, dancing and
acting with Close-Act Theater, Groen Gras and de La danse, as well as directing the final choreography of LOOP from Circus theater TENT (premiere: mei 2011 during the Rotterdam Circusstad).
In addition to the above mentioned activities, Laura spent 2011 dancing, acting, directing, teaching and modeling as a freelance artist for a diverse group of clients.
Performer
Recently Laura has danced with Project Zeezicht, Factor 1 and Jeugddanstheater Plankenkoorts. Her curriculum also includes working with Teatro Pavana and Meekers Uitgesproken Dans.
Choreographer and Director
Laura has choreographed a number of works for Circus Elleboog, including the acclaimed performance “IX US”. Her talents have also contributed to the performance success of Danswerkplaats Haarlem, Artiance and De Kunst.
Circus
Laura began her circus career at Circus Elleboog. She performed there in a variety of youth shows. Later in life, she returned frequently to the school to teach and
direct. Laura has trained with and
improved her partner acrobatics with
Stichting Stapel. Her abilities in aerial acrobatics come from workshops with
various teachers; Originally Fake
(Femke Luyckx) , Corpus Acrobatics
and Bencha Theater. From Youth
dance Theater Plankenkoorts she
learned acrobatic pole dance techniques
from the Dutch champion Denise Mulder.
Teacher
Laura has instructed a wide range of
techniques and styles to children,
teens and adults. She has helped spread
her love for movement with;
Buitenkunst, Circus Elleboog and the, Circustheaterdagen.
Training/Education
Laura is a graduate of the College of
Performing Arts, “de Hogeschool voor
de Kunsten” in Amsterdam. Specializing
in “Educator of Theatrical Dance”.
From graduation onwards Laura
continues her training through
workshops and courses with the
intention of never-ending her
development and always being able
to surprise repeat audiences.

The stage is Laura's natural habitat where she goes to struggles, radiates, and claims victory. An intoxicating force to watch, feel, and experience.
